As early as 1892, the establishment of a Raiffeisenkasse was discussed at a farmers' meeting in Kaisten. In 1893, plans were made to proceed with the establishment, but the cantonal government at the time did not approve the statutes. In 1917, 37 men laid the foundation for healthy development by establishing the Kaisten loan bank. In 1935, the 100th member was welcomed. In 1979, the bank moved into its new building in Mitteldorf.
The mergers with Raiffeisenkasse Ittenthal in 1992 and Raiffeisenbank Sulz in 2004 laid the foundations for continued success.
