NOMAD is an autonomous public institution mandated by the State of Neuchâtel. Our mission is to promote the independence and life plans of the residents of the canton of Neuchâtel by providing personalized home care and assistance services in coordination with the healthcare network. Through this mission, we are committed to making these services accessible to anyone residing in the canton, regardless of age, social status, or economic situation.

As a trusted partner, we work closely with Swiss health insurance companies, the Neuchâtel Cantonal Compensation Fund (CCNC), the Neuchâtel Disability Insurance Office (Office AI), and the canton's social and health institutions. This cooperation allows us to ensure effective coordination of care, guaranteeing high-quality services tailored to your specific needs.

At NOMAD, our motivation is to enable you to remain in the comfort of your own home for as long as possible.

Our services:

• General care and support: assessment and advice, examination and treatment (health checks, blood pressure monitoring, injections, infusions, dressings, preparation of weekly medication), basic care (hygiene, help with getting up and going to bed, dressing and undressing).

• Home help and support: maintenance of your living space and support in adapting your routines to enable you to continue living at home, as well as encouragement to participate in social and leisure activities.

• Liaison service: monitoring your situation from the moment you are hospitalized in order to organize your return home.

• Stoma care: treatment of wounds, stomas, and incontinence.

• Diabetes care: care and monitoring of your diabetes.

• Psychiatric care: care and monitoring of your mental health needs in your own environment.

• Dietetic care: screening by our nurses and nutritional monitoring by a dietitian.

• Care in acute situations: care program for complex, acute, and end-of-life situations, using a comprehensive, psychosocial approach in collaboration with several health and social partners.

• Palliative care: care and support at the end of your life, support for your loved ones.
