Since the early 1980s, MARCEL MONNOT SAS, a company specializing in tribofinishing and located in LES ECORCES in neighboring France, has been actively working with major watch brands.

In 2011, in order to meet the demand of our customers, we decided to open a workshop in LA CHAUX-DE-FONDS. MONNOT SWISS therefore allows us to offer deburring and tribofinishing polishing services. From the very first year of operation of this workshop, we had to increase our machine park in order to meet high demand.

We then added sandblasting and microblasting as complementary activities to tribofinishing, and in 2020 we added a flat polishing workshop.

Our tribofinishing machine park consists of modern and highly varied equipment, enabling us to polish or deburr small and large series of parts.

The materials we process include steel, brass, nickel silver, precious metals such as gold, silver, and palladium, as well as very hard materials such as cobalt chrome and zirconia, not to mention plastics such as ABS and PEEK.

SANDBLASTING - MICROBLASTING

Our sandblasting workshop consists of dry and wet cabins that can be fed with many types of media such as white corundum, glass microbeads, glass powder, ceramic microbeads, or plant-based or plastic media.

FLAT POLISHING

Our flat polishing workshop allows us to polish screw heads, links, and other small watch components with a high-quality blocked polish finish on materials as varied as stainless steel and precious metals.
