The Swiss company MAT-CUT SA specializes in hyperbaric water jet cutting of virtually all materials, from stainless steel to paper, glass, and synthetics.

Founded in late 1989, MAT-CUT SA has developed its expertise to meet the main concern of companies in the region:

Our niche: subcontracting using high-pressure water jet cutting on all materials with precision and finishing according to customer specifications.

Born from a meeting between industrialist Paul Steiner and subcontracting specialist Jean-Pierre Massé, our SME had four employees and generated annual sales of around CHF 600,000.

In the early 1990s, water jet cutting was virtually unknown, but our efforts have enabled us to count CERN, EPFL, ROLEX, CARTIER, ETEL, and others among our customers.

Today

Our company, now managed by Mr. Hervé Baillod, has grown with the acquisition of new, faster, and more precise machines. We currently have five employees and annual revenue of $1.2 million.

In addition, we can offer our 650 clients better services thanks to micro-cutting, with precision of +/-0.01 up to 1 mm, as well as ultra-high pressure technology of 6000 bars!

Thanks to our knowledge and experience acquired over the years, we advise our customers on the choice of materials and mechanical design. We do this while maintaining the required quality with the ultimate goal of reducing costs.

We have also surrounded ourselves with trusted partners in order to offer our customers a range of finished products.
