Buchs Frères SA

Founded in 1934 by Oscar and Robert Buchs in La Côte-aux-Fées, the company evolved into a limited company in 2005.

We currently employ around 30 workers and apprentices in carpentry, joinery and sawmilling.

Carpentry:

• Construction of villas wood frame, façade cladding, Eternit and others. Agricultural hangars and coverings of all kinds. Velux windows, interior fittings (walls, ceiling, floor, parquet and insulation).

Joinery:

• Specializing in the manufacture of windows and doors, wood/metal and PVC (Kömmerling system). Over the years we have modernized our workshops to respond as quickly as possible to our private and professional customers. Regular joinery such as renovation, cabinet making and kitchen fittings are among our company's specialties.

Sawmill:

• Equipped with a vertical band we are able to cut carpentry to lists, joinery trays, window squares, custom sawing, all of which can be kiln dried. In 2015, we acquired a press to produce different products (3-ply window frames, duo, construction timber, glued laminated timber that can be fixed with white glue or PU).
