The nursery sees its role as providing day care for children to supplement the care and upbringing they receive at home. The main aim of the nursery is to help parents balance family and work commitments.

The children are therefore looked after responsibly and encouraged in age-appropriate ways while their parents are at work, attending further training, or otherwise absent for work-related reasons.

The group provides the children with a second social learning environment alongside their family.
