Other services

Like all other components in your vehicle, the air conditioning system requires regular maintenance. The air conditioning system consumes approximately 5 to 10% of its refrigerant every year.
An insufficient amount of fluid reduces the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system and leads to overloading of the compressor. The air conditioning system also contains several wear parts (cabin filter, filter dryer), which should preferably be replaced periodically. The evaporator and ventilation ducts, on the other hand, can be affected by mold, bacteria, or mites, which not only leads to unpleasant odors in the interior, but can also trigger allergies.

We perform the following maintenance work on air conditioning systems:

• Treating the air conditioning system's refrigerant evaporator with disinfectant
• Performing air conditioning maintenance (vacuuming, filtering, drying, replenishing and refilling, system check)
• Air conditioning maintenance including disinfection of the refrigerant evaporator

Exhaust gas test

Since January 2013, vehicles with an on-board diagnostic system (OBD) that comply with the Euro 3 standard no longer need to have their exhaust emissions serviced. If the vehicle is not yet equipped with OBD, the law requires that this important maintenance work continue to be carried out every two years.

You can find out whether your car complies with this standard in the vehicle registration document (field 72). With the following codes, emissions are monitored automatically using the OBD system: B03, B04, B5a, B5b, B6a, B6b, B6c, A04, A05, A07.

In this case, an emissions test must only be carried out within one month of the OBD error indicator lighting up. Important: The emissions document must bear the inscription OBD-2 system. If you are unsure, please contact us. We will be happy to help you.

We have a diagnostic device that can communicate with all of the vehicle's control units. This enables the specialist in the workshop to:

• read, interpret, and reset all error codes stored in the control units
• perform the service reset
• display all parameters, both in numerical values and graphically
• reliably diagnose and evaluate failures of sensors, control units, and other electronic components
• reprogram certain control units, entering the data specified by the manufacturer.
