Company history

1971
Ueli Rechsteiner founds a sole proprietorship.

1974
The sole proprietorship is converted into a public limited company.

1981
The company moves into its new factory building in Laupen near Wald.

1998
Simon Rechsteiner, a Swiss-certified master metalworker, joins the family business.

2006
Simon Rechsteiner becomes the owner of U. Rechsteiner AG.

2011
We celebrate 40 years of U. Rechsteiner AG.
