External whitening
External whitening involves lightening the teeth from the outside. It can be done either at the dentist's office or at home.
 
Home bleaching

The patient performs the whitening at home.
The dentist takes an impression of the teeth and makes trays for the teeth to be whitened. The patient applies a gel to these trays themselves. They are worn for 1 hour every day or every night for approximately 10 days.
 
In-office bleaching

This whitening is done directly in the dentist's office. In three 15-minute sessions, the gel is reapplied each time and enhanced by light. The results are immediate and spectacular.
