Le Microcosme

Le Microcosme, a nursery and daycare center for everyone.

For over 10 years, Le Microcosme nursery has been welcoming children from 3 months to school age, in a green setting ideally located at the southern entrance to Lausanne, in the Maladière district. It is open to all. The daycare center has a private garden and a drop-off parking lot in the immediate vicinity of the facility.

An Educalis home

Le Microcosme is part of Educalis, a Swiss group that has been active in the field of premium education for over 15 years. It stands out for its pursuit of excellence and innovation, drawing on the skills and knowledge of some 150 experts in the first 1,000 days (and beyond).

Four private nurseries (Les Petits Acrobates, La Nanosphère, Le Microcosme, andLes 6 Sens), a private school (Ecole Vivalys), and a day camp organization (Les Graines de Curieux) make up the Educalis group in the Lausanne region.

Our vision, guided by the enlightened teachings of Boris Cyrulnik, a renowned neuropsychiatrist, highlights the crucial importance of this initial period. It emphasizes the key role of a child's environment, experiences, and interactions in their neurological and emotional development. Cyrulnik emphasizes the concept of resilience, highlighting the decisive impact of early experiences and relationships on a child's ability to meet future challenges. According to her precepts, caring supervision, appropriate stimulation, and a secure environment during these first 1,000 days are crucial for promoting the child's harmonious development and the formation of a resilient personality.
