Feeding technology

Sorting and feeding systems

HAVEMO's sorting and feeding systems guarantee reliable and process-secure conveying, orientation, and separation of your bulk goods. Through cooperation and constant contact with our users, we are creating the economical feeding technology systems of tomorrow. The core components, the single or multi-lane sorting pots, are manufactured on 5-axis CNC machines, which enables 100% reproducibility. Conveyor pots

Havemo spiral conveyors in combination with conveyor pots adapted to the conveyed material are particularly suitable for the correct orientation of small to very small workpieces.

The conical design prevents the conveyed material from jamming. Maximum functional reliability through adaptation of the conveyor tracks to the workpieces. Depending on the conveyed material, the pots are made of wear-resistant plastic, stainless steel, or aluminum. Aluminum pots are hard anodized or Teflon-coated after the sorting elements have been installed.

 

Spiral conveyors

Our spiral conveyors are characterized by their low height, high conveying capacity, and precise workmanship. The vibration dampers are recessed. Adjusting the vibration elements does not change the height.

Havemo supplies complete solutions with sorting elements adapted to the conveyed material for spiral and linear conveyors. With adapted separation devices, jam monitoring, workpiece presence checks, and belt binders with level controls.

 

Linear conveyors

Application

Linear conveyors in conjunction with feed rails adapted to the conveyed material are used for the linear transport of workpieces.

Features

They are characterized by precise workmanship and high conveying capacity. Adjusting the swing elements does not change the overall height. An additional swing element can be used as an option to increase the conveying length.

 

Control units and PLC controls

We use the cost-effective SE 601 and SE 602 phase angle control systems to control our spiral and linear conveyors, which effectively compensate for mains voltage fluctuations. In addition to the phase angle control systems, our product range also includes the SE 611 and SE 612 mains-independent frequency converters, which are also compatible with HAVEMO spiral and linear conveyors.

All controllers in the SE 6XX series are housed in a robust sheet steel enclosure.

The SE 5XX series is available as a 19" plug-in for switch cabinet installation or installation in control combinations.

When it comes to customer-specific PLC controls for system solutions and special-purpose machines, we are the right partner for everything from cost-effective small PLC controls to complex PLC controls with control panels and control cabinet construction.

Automatic feeders

Application

The automatic feeders in the ZA0 to ZA2 series are suitable for blowing screws, threaded pins, rivets, and similar small parts into the workstation in the correct position. They are used to feed:

• Hand-held pneumatic or electric screwdrivers
• Knee lever or rack and pinion hand presses
• Automatic presses
• Stationary screwdrivers
• Robotic screwdrivers
• Coordinate screwdrivers

Features

The sorting pots are made of wear-resistant and noise-insulating plastic. The wear parts are made of hardened tool steel. Depending on requirements, two integrable control systems are available. All automatic feeders feature workpiece presence monitoring.

 

Feed-type manual screwdriver
Application

The 80 W pneumatic screwdriver was developed for screwdriving applications up to 4.5 Nm. This torque corresponds to screw sizes M3 and M4. The maximum screw length is 30 mm. The shortest length is calculated from the head diameter x 1.3. Depending on the screw size, the ZA 1 – M90 or ZA 2 – M90 automatic feeders with a freely programmable PLC control and LCD display are used to feed the screws.

Features

Fixed screws ensure that the screws are reliably located and joined thanks to three-point fixation in the mouthpiece. Thanks to the automatically controlled clamping jaws, which move backwards during the screwing process, the screw is only in contact with the blade during the screwing process. This prevents damage to the workpiece by the jaws.

The tool is started by manually pressing the ergonomically positioned start bar. This prevents the screwdriver from starting unintentionally. The pneumatic motor switches off when the set torque is reached.

 

Telescopic – Hand Screwdrivers

Application

A comprehensive range of pneumatic and electric screwdrivers is available to solve your screwdriving tasks. Havemo supplies telescopic screwdriving attachments for both straight and pistol screwdrivers. Different mouthpieces are available for a wide range of applications. Automatic screw feeding is provided by the ZA0 to ZA2 series of automatic feeders.

Features

We solve particularly complicated screwdriving tasks with custom-made products. Optionally, the screwdriver attachment can be equipped with a depth control or depth adjustment. The depth control ensures that no new screw is blown in if the target screw depth is not reached.
The depth shut-off allows screws to be screwed in to an adjustable depth without reaching full torque.

Modularity

You can see some of our many variants in the brochure. Additional modules, screwdrivers, and adaptations are available on request. Havemo screwdriver attachments can be adapted to all standard pneumatic and electric tools.

 

Screwdriving modules

Application

Used as a screwdriving unit in manual workstations, assembly machines, or production lines. Multi-spindle versions are available. Start-up can be triggered by two-hand operation, foot switch, or in production lines by a higher-level control system. Compressed air or electric screwdrivers can be used. Screw feeding is carried out by the ZA1-PE or ZA2-PE automatic feeders with microprocessor control.

Features

Adjustable stops limit the cylinder stroke. Electronic switches monitor the end positions. The speed of the feed cylinder is regulated by integrated exhaust air throttles. A stop valve prevents the screwdriver from lowering unintentionally when not under pressure. The screwdriver spindle and mouthpiece are guided by ball-bearing profile rails. The following controls are integrated for monitoring the screwdriving process:
