Thanks to our many years of collaboration with sports physicians, we are able to incorporate the latest findings into our fitting techniques. As an independent supplier of more than 14 different brands, our range currently includes over 150 different shoe models. This diversity enables us to respond to the numerous needs and foot shapes of our customers.

HISTORY

As a 23-year-old athlete and member of the national team, Seppi Wirth ran the Swiss record for 10,000 m in London with a time of 28:49.6. Even then, he realized how important it is to wear the right running shoes, as his "mileage eating" put considerable strain on his entire musculoskeletal system. As more and more people took up running, he began to toy with the idea of founding Switzerland's first specialist running shop. Drawing on his extensive running experience, he opened "Wirth Sport" with his wife Rita in 1979. With a great deal of passion and dedication, he created a gem of a sports shop that stands out thanks to its top-level expertise and advice.

After more than 30 years of successful management, the business was handed over to the next Wirth Sport generation at the beginning of 2012. Mario Simmen, Seppi Wirth's son-in-law, has taken over the reins together with his wife Jennifer and is leading Wirth Sport into the future with renewed energy.
