The foundation board members, who are elected from among the affiliated companies and are themselves insured with FUTURA through their companies, ensure efficient and cost-effective implementation with a constant eye on further optimization. Mandates from third-party partners are regularly reviewed for market conformity. The pension funds are invested in the interests of the insured and with the aim of generating additional interest income.

The 3.25% interest rate on pension funds in 2024 confirms the foundation's strategy. The reduction in conversion rates, which is unavoidable due to rising life expectancy, should be cushioned as much as possible by generating high performance and distributing these funds to the insured.
