Onoranze Funebri Monti SA

Roberto "Cio" Monti, a native of Magliaso, was born in Lugano on March 4, 1951. He has been married to Daniela since 1988, with whom he has two children, Lara and Alex. He has lived in Mulini di Neggio since 1971.
He trained as a cadastral draughtsman, then obtained a diploma as a funeral director and subsequently became a funeral entrepreneur, obtaining a federal certificate in 2007.
The company was founded in 1976 with his father Cio (senior), who was already working in the industry.
Over the years, the funeral home has been and continues to be appreciated for its reliability and professionalism.
A few years ago, his wife Daniela joined the company and now runs it with Cio. At the end of November 2021, she also obtained the federal certificate, the first and only woman in Ticino to do so.

The company subsequently moved to Via Ai Mulini in Magliaso, building a warehouse, an office, and a private mortuary.
