Lastwagen-Service Malters AG

From repair shop to truck service company in Central Switzerland

On June 15, 1976, Lastwagen Service Malters AG started out with four employees on Hellbühlstrasse as a repair and service workshop and sales base for STEYR and DAF commercial vehicles. However, space quickly became limited. The company was able to purchase land in the newly developed "Ei" industrial area and built its own premises in 1983.

 

In 2016, Lastwagen Service Malters AG celebrated its 40th anniversary at the same location.

 

Today, Lastwagen Service Malters AG employs seven specialists in its office and workshop and is training three apprentices to become automotive specialists/mechatronics engineers. Oliver Müller, co-owner and managing director, manages the company's business affairs and oversees sales, customer acquisition, and administration. Workshop manager and co-owner Stefan Pütter ensures that everything runs smoothly on the technical side.

 

Lastwagen Service Malters AG carries out service and repair work on trucks of all brands, as well as on trailers and coaches equipped with DAF engines. Today's operations include the DAF sales center, the efficient repair and service workshop for all heavy commercial vehicles with a large spare parts warehouse, air conditioning service, and exhaust maintenance. A fully equipped service vehicle is available for on-site breakdown services.
