Don Fermin was born from the idea of bringing a typical dish from Argentina directly to Ticino. With an entirely artisanal production process, our empanadas bring a little piece of our country to the Canton of Ticino. Thanks to the fact that they are frozen, you will always have a delicious treat to eat.

When a person moves to another country, the thing they often miss most is the food from home. We know that thanks to globalization, we can find almost anything anywhere on the planet, but when it comes to a particular food like empanadas, it's not always that simple.

COOKING METHOD

Baking

All our empanadas are frozen so that you can cook them whenever you want, but don't think that this is difficult, because it's actually super easy. Follow these 3 simple steps and your empanadas will be ready to eat and surprise everyone.

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 275°C. Let's pause here, because this is important. You know your oven better than anyone, so let it heat up properly to avoid ruining the empanadas.

STEP 2: When the oven is ready, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or oil, and then place the empanadas on top. Leave a space of at least 2-3 cm between each one.

STEP 3: The last step is not the least important. When you see that the dough has changed color from white to golden brown, the empanadas are ready. This takes about 15 minutes of baking. If you have any doubts, look at our photos and compare them with those in the oven.

EXTRA: Empanadas are ideal for eating at any time of day, but if you have them for lunch or dinner, wine and beer are the best accompaniments. If you eat them as an appetizer, it will be truly magical!
