PBV Kaufmann Systeme GmbH

PBV Kaufmann was founded in 1997 as a family business in Härkingen and specializes in payment systems (originally U-Key, now Mifare and Legic) in the vending and canteen sector.

In-house development began in 2002, and since 2004, the development and production of Mifare readers, cards, and encodings has been an integral part of the company. Today, all Mifare readers and encodings are still developed, produced, and tested in-house at PBV Kaufmann.

In 2009, the access control division was expanded to include its own readers, and access readers have been part of the comprehensive product range ever since.

In 2013, company founder Hans-Peter Kaufmann handed over the company to new owners and, together with the existing team, the company moved to larger premises in Reiden in 2014.

In addition to the cash register, vending, and access sectors, the great strengths of PBV Kaufmann Systeme GmbH are data carrier coding and management, as well as consulting on multi-application concepts.
