Founded in 1972 by Giorgio Oliva as a sole proprietorship, Oliva Falegnameria was transformed into a public limited company in 1999 with the arrival of Matteo Oliva and Michela Gardenghi Oliva on the board of directors, thus maintaining its character as a family business. Since 1973, we have been affiliated with the Swiss Association of Furniture and Door and Window Manufacturers, Ticino section.

Our company is located in the Blenio Valley, in the municipality of Acquarossa, more precisely in Motto (10 minutes from Biasca), but our activities extend throughout the canton of Ticino and the rest of Switzerland.

Our main activity is the production, supply, and installation of wooden and wood-aluminum doors and windows, but we are also able to offer any type of carpentry work: entrance doors and interior doors, wardrobes, furniture, stairs, kitchens, cladding, renovation of rustic buildings, etc.

Thanks to the training and professionalism of our workforce (qualified carpenters and apprentice carpenters based in the region), high-quality wood and other materials (mainly sourced in Switzerland) and state-of-the-art machinery (we have just acquired a new CNC numerically controlled machining center), we can offer our customers (private individuals, public bodies, architectural firms, etc.) carpentry work that meets their individual and specific needs.

Our company's field of activity starts with consulting and/or design, continues with in-house production in our workshop, and ends with the installation of the finished products, which come with a long-term guarantee. We are also very environmentally conscious and have been using a latest-generation boiler for years. Our solid wood waste is ground and recycled to be automatically fed into the boiler. If necessary, we also purchase wood chips from a local supplier.
