The pro animali cat shelter in Marfeldingen (Mühleberg) has existed since 1979 and was extensively renovated in 2010 to create ideal conditions for animal care. Under the competent leadership of Joy Käser, foundlings as well as abandoned or unwanted cats are taken in and nursed back to health with great care. The goal is placement in a loving home, but even animals that are difficult to place find a permanent, protected home here. In addition to animal welfare work, the shelter is partly funded by hosting vacation guests in its cat boarding facility.
