Burrens Burehofmärit und Lebenshof, Christine und Tobias Burren

We, Christine (born in 1991) and Tobias (born in 1990), have been running the farm with direct marketing since 2020. As a trained farmer and agricultural engineer, Tobias is mainly responsible for arable farming, composting, and the animals. Christine is a trained chef and business economist and is therefore busy in the kitchen, with product development, in the shop, or in the office. Together we have two daughters, Emilia (born in 2021) and Sophia (born in 2022).

Sustainability and animal welfare are particularly important to us. We strive to treat nature and animals with the best of our knowledge, conscience, and respect, and to care for them accordingly. For example, we have decided to practice regenerative agriculture and convert to a sanctuary farm.

In our farm shop, we mainly sell our own products, but we also buy vegetables and fruit from the region to expand our range. Products that we produce ourselves are labeled "FROM US" in the shop. Popular highlights of the year are the asparagus season, the pick-your-own season, the pumpkin exhibition, and Christmas with its many different Christmas cookies.
