Beat Gerber GmbH

Our company was founded in 1964 by my father, Heinz Gerber.

After completing my apprenticeship as an upholsterer/upholsterer and gaining several years of professional experience in various companies, I joined my father's business in 1980, which I took over in 1983. I expanded the business from floor laying to interior decoration and in 1984 I passed the master craftsman's examination as an upholsterer/floor layer.

This allows me to train apprentices. Since 1986, four apprentices have successfully completed the four-year apprenticeship as interior decorators specializing in floor coverings. One apprentice completed the three-year apprenticeship as a floor layer.

Our family business employs 1-2 staff and one apprentice. My wife takes care of the administrative and office work for our business. In the meantime, my son has completed his apprenticeship as an interior decorator/flooring specialist and has been working in our business since July 2004.

Our customers are private clients: owners, tenants, builders, landlords, property managers, and architects.
