Kids Care

The Kids Care nursery was founded in 2001, initially to meet the need for childcare for children from foreign and English-speaking families who had recently arrived in Switzerland. Since then, there have been many developments, particularly in terms of the premises, capacity, teaching staff, and educational mission.

To this day, the educational team has sought to maintain bilingualism, particularly during singing and storytelling sessions, which are conducted in both French and English.

Kids Care is a facility that welcomes 23 children per day, aged 4 months to 4 years. The nursery has very bright premises consisting of a large main room, a small room dedicated to movement, a small room serving as a reading corner and nap room for older children, a dining room, a nap room for younger children, a kitchen, two toilets, one of which is adapted for children, and a three-story garden.

The educational team is made up of qualified social education assistants and early childhood educators. The team also includes nursery assistants and students training to be early childhood educators, and trains social education assistant apprentices every year.

The nursery is located in a small residential neighborhood in Serrière. It does not have its own parking lot, but there are several parking spaces available around the nursery. Access to the facility is therefore on foot, via stairs or a small flat path accessible by stroller.
