The range of services and its origins

The installation of ventilation systems has been one of the three pillars of Pelair AG since its foundation in 1988. In 1990, the second pillar was added with the implementation of heating systems. With the increasing need for greater sustainability in the operation of ventilation and air conditioning systems, the demand for services also rose. Since 2000, the service division has formed the third pillar of the company's offering.

Regional roots

The Lake Zurich region is the geographical focus of Pelair AG. Proximity to customers is a major advantage, both in terms of knowledge of local conditions and rapid response times in the service division. Enquiries from outside this area are welcome.

Chronology

1988

Pelair AG is founded by Peter and Silvia Lindinger. The company's business activities focus on the installation of ventilation systems. After just a short time, the new company already has 12 employees.

1990

Establishment of the "heating" division. Implementation planning is now also offered in both areas.

1996

Start of apprentice training: one heating engineer EFZ and one ventilation system engineer EFZ.

1997

Peter Aebi takes over the heating/cooling division and makes Pelair a well-known supplier of heating systems in the region.

2000

Kurt Habegger establishes the new "Service" division as the new division manager. Under his leadership, the service division is continuously expanded and thus becomes an important pillar of the company.

2005

Heinz Andermatt takes over the ventilation/air conditioning division. Peter Lindinger devotes more time to management and begins planning his succession.

2010

The three division managers Peter Aebi, Heinz Andermatt, and Kurt Habegger take over the company in equal shares. Peter Lindinger steps down from management on January 1, 2010. The three partners continue to manage their divisions largely autonomously. Overarching decisions are made jointly.

2013

Pelair AG celebrates its 25th anniversary and looks back on a successful company history. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of teamwork. The interaction between well-trained, motivated, and mostly long-standing employees has made this success possible. Consolidating and expanding expertise is also seen as key for the future. The aim is to further improve quality in order to be and remain a reliable partner for customers, builders, architects, and engineers.

2017

Kurt Habegger retires and transfers responsibility for the service division to Pascal Sutter.

2023

Thomas Aebi, a certified technician HF in the field of heating, brings with him the latest knowledge in heat pump technology and takes over as head of the Heating division.
