The current Plan-Werkstatt Lüchinger began operations in 2005, at that time still under the name Bauplanung Lüchinger.

The history of Plan-Werkstatt Lüchinger

The company's founder, Walter Lüchinger, originally trained as a carpenter. After completing his apprenticeship, he was introduced to drafting and project planning at the company and took on the planning and construction of roof trusses on a part-time basis. He continued to work as a carpenter for the rest of the time.

In 2005, he decided to strike out on his own. He founded the company Bauplanung Lüchinger. In 2009, he moved to the office in Oberriet and his daughter Nadia (a trained civil engineering draughtswoman) joined the company as an employee. Until 2009, she worked in an engineering office and then completed a part-time course at the construction management school in BZ Buchs.

In 2012, the company was renamed from Bauplanung Lüchinger to Plan-Werkstatt Lüchinger.

Ronny Baumgartner joined the team in 2018. A trained carpenter, he has furthered his education to become a timber construction foreman.
