Ergobourg

Graduated as an occupational therapist in 1989, I worked in the Department of Adult Psychiatry, Community Psychiatry Service, Rehabilitation Unit for 22 years as an occupational therapist and then unit manager.

Since March 2012, I have opened an independent mental health practice at Ergobourg in Oron-la-Ville.

What do I do?

Like creating a patchwork quilt, the occupational therapist, by creating synergies, assembles the pieces until a harmonious functional balance is regained.

Occupational therapy:

Health profession that promotes the re-education, rehabilitation and reintegration of people affected in their physical and psychic integrity. Through the implementation of activities close to daily life that take into account the patient's abilities, values and culture; the occupational therapist participates in the development of a therapeutic project.

The treatment is prescribed by the occupational therapist.

Treatment is prescribed by the attending physician in increments of 9 sessions, renewable as needed. Sessions are individual, or in small groups, at the workshop or if necessary at the patient's home. Sessions last from 60 to 180 minutes, depending on the treatment. Treatment is covered by basic health insurance.
