The steamboat "Fribourg" sailed on Lake Neuchâtel from 1913 to 1965. In 1966, it was dry-docked in Portalban and converted into a restaurant by Mr. Eric Keusen. Its original condition has been preserved.
A mecca for regional cuisine, Le Bateau restaurant offers its customers a variety of typical dishes inspired by the lake and surrounding countryside in a romantic and discreet setting.
In addition to our à la carte menu, we also serve daily lunch specials, pizzas, and other convivial dishes. You will be welcomed with warmth and enjoy traditional cuisine.
We look forward to welcoming you and hope you have a pleasant stay.
