About us

Wilo Schmid AG was entered in the commercial register in Raron on March 26, 1993. The company founders Schmid Wilo, Theler Max, and Theler Xaver took the plunge at a rather difficult time, but they never regretted it. By early 1994, work was already being carried out in the specially built workshop. In 2007, this had to be enlarged as the company had grown to more than 15 employees.

By 2011, seven employees had already reached their 10-year anniversary, which makes us very happy and encourages us in our work. In 2010, David Schmid began the succession process. The company is now jointly managed by David and Wilo Schmid.

The company's workshop is equipped with modern machinery, such as computer-controlled press brakes, guillotine shears, sawing and punching machines. The company also has modern welding stations to guarantee optimal solutions and good welding quality.
