Swimming pond

What is a swimming pond?
Swimming ponds are artificial bodies of water that are sealed against the ground and protected from the surrounding area. Nature serves as a model for the construction of a swimming pond facility. Inputs (rainfall, organic material, bathers, etc.) and outputs (evaporation, cleaning, decomposition, etc.) are in balance. The water is purified mechanically (e.g., surface cleaning, pond maintenance) and biologically (plants, biofilm, microorganisms). The use of preservatives or disinfectants is not permitted. Furthermore, the plants are in contact with the water. A distinction is made between 5 categories.
