KKure Sagl

KUURE Sagl is a home care and assistance service (Spitex) for anyone who needs temporary or long-term support due to:

• illness
• accident
• disability
• old age
• social or family difficulties

KUURE Sagl examines requests for services, assesses the need and priority of the intervention, and defines a care plan in agreement with the user: an approach that allows the non-self-sufficient person to remain in their own home for as long as possible, receiving help to organize and make the best use of their resources.

KUURE Sagl analyzes the patient's needs in depth with the help of the RAI-Home-Care computer program, as recommended by the Department of Health and major health insurance companies.

KUURE Sagl operates throughout the Mendrisiotto region.

OUR MISSION
Home care and assistance is a service provided directly in patients' homes, with the primary mission of developing the individual and collective potential of those who request the service, in order to make and keep these people as independent as possible from inpatient social and healthcare facilities (for short or long periods).
Home care and assistance services promote, maintain, and/or restore the bio-psycho-social health of the individual, aiming for maximum recovery and maintenance of physical autonomy.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Care is provided in accordance with the principles of individual rights:

• every person has the right to scientifically recognized healthcare services
• services must be appropriate to the need for care, respecting the principles of freedom, dignity, and integrity of the human person and taking into account the criteria of healthcare effectiveness and the principle of cost-effectiveness.

SERVICES
Care services are provided in the form of nursing interventions aimed at prevention, relief, and healing for the suffering person, as well as domestic help services.
Care refers to basic care and medical-therapeutic care.

 

GUARANTEE
We guarantee the patient's right to be informed about any type of treatment that concerns them. In the case of individuals who are incapable of discernment, this right will be given to their legal representative or, in the absence of such a representative, to the person closest to them who takes care of them.

Basic care refers to services that ensure vital functions and give rise to a set of activities that allow for the continuity of life, including in particular:

• complete hygiene in bed
• partial hygiene in bed or at the sink
• total hygiene in the bathroom or shower
• hygiene of the facial orifices
• hygiene of the genitals and sacrum
• rubbing and massaging to prevent bedsores
• hair washing
• manicures and pedicures
• dressing or undressing
• making beds, whether empty or occupied
• oral hydration
• feeding with full assistance
• partial assistance with feeding
• using a bedpan
• use of urinal
• manual emptying of the rectum
• use of protective equipment
• mobilization
• positioning and comfort in bed
• mobilization outside or inside the bed
• lifting and assisting during walking
• passive and/or active mobilization exercises
• accompanying and assisting with walking outdoors
• Bandaging of limbs
• application of cold packs
