Le Falzar

The history of Le Falzar boutique began on November 30, 1979, at 90 Rue de l'Eglise in Romont. "Le Falzar" is a popular term in French meaning "trousers." The name immediately gives an idea of what the new boutique would sell. Josiane Favre enthusiastically embarked on this great adventure.

More than 1,000 jeans in all shapes and colors, sweaters, blouses, and jackets were offered to customers who discovered a style that was innovative for the region. A new commercial adventure began. Customers felt at ease.

Over the years, the store carved out a place for itself. The space on Rue de l'Eglise became too small and prevented the desired growth needed to meet the expectations of an ever-increasing number of customers.

In September 1995, the boutique moved to 7 Grand-Rue. It doubled in size and increased its selection. It benefited from a much larger window display on the main street of the medieval city.

From then on, in addition to items from renowned brands, Josiane Favre developed new services, such as the "fitting room service," which made the advice customers received unique.

In February 2009, the Le Falzar boutique was completely transformed and renovated. Josiane Favre and her staff now welcome and advise their customers in a modern space fitted out with suitable materials and bathed in light.

In November 2014, the Le Falzar boutique celebrated its 35th anniversary, with customers enjoying a range of special offers to mark the occasion.

In January 2020, Josiane handed over the keys to the boutique to Sylvie Vuagniaux, also a qualified image consultant, ensuring a smooth transition.

At Le Falzar, every customer is unique and receives VIP treatment. Always striving for exclusivity, Sylvie and her loyal staff put all their experience and knowledge into making every visit a truly enjoyable experience!
