In 2021, the Lausanne Golf Club celebrated its 100th anniversary.
A bold creation by a small number of people, the Lausanne Golf Club benefited before World War II from the support of the tourism industry, particularly hoteliers. The situation changed in the post-war period with the extension of the course in 1961, an explosion in membership, and the hosting of several major European and world tournaments.
