Language development playgroup

We offer children aged 2 and above the opportunity to practice their German language skills. Targeted language support tailored to children of playgroup age promotes communication skills, language comprehension, and vocabulary development.

The choice of support content is based on the developmental needs and abilities of the children. We incorporate language support into everyday playgroup activities and accompany the children's actions with language. This allows us to assess each child's language level and respond to them individually. Learning through play with philosophy, accompanying everyday situations with language, with rituals, children's songs, verses, games for movement and the senses, storytelling, inventing, playing, crafts, free play, and visualization of pictures, logos, and writing.

We give the children plenty of freedom, set clear boundaries, and encourage creative thinking. Free play is the focus, as the experiences the child gains from it are invaluable. The most important thing in our playgroup is and remains playing and experiencing. Children learn best from each other. As a playgroup, we provide a social environment for them to gain experience. The children learn to find their place in a group of peers. They learn to assert themselves, to be considerate of others, to accept strengths and weaknesses, and to help themselves and each other.

They form their first friendships, expand their social and language skills, and, in a safe environment, can gently detach from their closest caregivers in preparation for kindergarten. We are there to care for the children as well as to address the concerns of their parents.
