Malerei-Gipserei Studer AG is a third-generation family business with a long tradition of innovation. Since Ernst Studer Senior founded the painting and plastering workshop in 1935, our company has continued to develop and expand to this day.

1935 – Founding of the painting and plastering workshop by Ernst Studer Senior, master painter, first generation

1962 – Son Ernest Studer takes over as a federally certified master painter in the second generation

1970 – Continuation of a sole proprietorship Ernest Studer – Goetz

1989 – Gilbert Studer, son of Ernest Studer-Goetz, joins the company, 3rd generation

1993 – Gilbert Studer passed the examination to become a Swiss-certified master painter

1996 – Gilbert Studer takes over the sole proprietorship from Ernest Studer-Goetz, now Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert

2010 – Takeover of the painting company René Bogaert in Solothurn and integration into Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert

2012 – Florian Hedinger joins the company Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert

2016 – Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert is converted into a public limited company, Malerei-Gipserei Studer AG

2019 – Florian Hedinger takes over management of the plastering division

 

Today, we employ 18 staff and 4 apprentices in the painting and plastering divisions, making us one of the largest companies in the Solothurn region. Together with our long-standing employees, our team is the ideal specialist for all painting and plastering work. Through our strong commitment to promoting young talent, we are able to pass on our craft to young, interested professionals and position our company for the future. With our modern infrastructure and up-to-date vehicles, we make a valuable contribution to our precious environment.
