Schulheim Scharans

A vibrant living space where people come together in a special way – that's the Scharans boarding school, located in the picturesque Domleschg region between Thusis and Chur. Recognized by the canton of Graubünden and thus also by IVSE, this special boarding school offers space for children and young people with special social and educational needs.

In their temporary home, the children and young people experience security and understanding and receive optimal support: from dedicated staff in the residential groups, in the personal setting of the internal school, and thanks to constructive cooperation with their social environment, parents, and the authorities.

On the grounds, which offer numerous opportunities for play and sports and where staff families also live, mutual appreciation is practiced. This shapes lives. Because the children's future begins today.

In 2016, our team of specialists began working according to the principles of Haim Omer. The keyword is "strength instead of power." Our employees will regularly engage with this approach and undergo further training in the coming years.
