Antifreeze agents based on ethylene or propylene glycol cover a large part of the demand.
Whether ethylene or propylene glycols, whether as antifreeze concentrate or antifreeze mixture, we offer quality antifreeze for the refrigeration, solar, sprinkler, and geothermal industries.
Specialties such as inhibited ethanol products for geothermal applications or "bio-glycols" round out the range.
Variable container sizes, ready-made mixtures, fast delivery to construction sites, system filling via specially equipped tank trucks, trained personnel, and our expertise are at your disposal.

Heating water

LIME SCALE & CORROSION CAN BE EXPENSIVE

• Invest in the right place
• Water quality is crucial for the long-term, trouble-free operation of your heating system with optimum energy efficiency! The use of treated water qualities in accordance with SWKI has solved the problem of "lime". However, at the same time, the risk of corrosion has increased significantly. Treated water promotes corrosion.
• For this reason, a pH correction (usually an increase) is artificially carried out during treatment (demineralization). In addition, self-alkalization can have a favorable effect on the pH value of the water.
• If all SWKI specifications are complied with , your heating system can be protected against corrosion.

AFFOLTER CHEM AND ADEY AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER

• Together with ADEY, we support the charity "Team Rynkeby - hohes C Zurich, Switzerland Cycling Team." A project that benefits seriously ill children.
• Every year, over 60 teams in Europe cycle to Paris to raise money for seriously ill children.
• The project was launched in 2002 by employees of the Danish company Rynkeby Foods. Eleven cyclists set off on the journey to Paris to watch the finish of the Tour de France together and do something for their fitness.
• At the end of the first trip, the surplus was donated to the children's cancer ward at the University Hospital in Odense, Denmark, thus establishing a tradition.
• Since the first tour, Team Rynkeby has raised more than €75 million for seriously ill children.
• This year, we are participating with Adey for the first time and are supporting the cycling team both emotionally and financially.

REFRIGERATION MACHINE OILS

• Refrigeration machine oils occupy a special place in the field of industrial lubricants.
• Specially developed lubricants are manufactured and used to meet the specific requirements of refrigeration. The interaction between refrigerant and system technology is made possible by the right refrigeration oil. When selecting a lubricant, it is important to consider the lubricant base and viscosity.
• Ester oils are usually used with modern chlorine-free refrigerants. New developments, such as CO2 as a refrigerant, require adapted lubricants.
