Schulhaus am Bach

The Schulhaus am Bach is a significant historic building in Schaffhausen, built between 1867 and 1869 in the Classicist style as a girls' school. It is located on the edge of the Old Town, in immediate proximity to the train station. As a cultural asset of national importance, it was extensively renovated between 2017 and 2019. Today, the building houses the secondary school of the Altstadt school unit. It features specialized classrooms, a large auditorium, and offers pedagogical concepts such as learning studios and the 'School Island' for individual support.
