The Rüfenacht chimney sweeping business, founded in 1973 by Peter and Monika Rüfenacht, has been managed by Manuel Rüfenacht since 2009. After completing his initial training as a stove fitter/tiler, he successfully trained as a master chimney sweep and, together with a motivated and dedicated team, works hard every day to ensure the well-being of your combustion system.

Chimney sweeping

The job description of a chimney sweep has changed significantly in recent years. Of course, we still clean chimneys. However, new heating technologies have led to additional tasks. To prevent fires and protect the environment, we clean all combustion systems for wood, oil, and gas heating systems and check their exhaust gas values.

Regular cleaning of your combustion system reduces fuel consumption, lowers pollutant emissions, extends the service life of your heating system, and ensures personal safety. Periodic cleaning by a chimney sweep also reduces the likelihood of malfunctions, saving you expensive repair costs.

Combustion control

We are recognized specialists and are happy to carry out official measurements for oil, gas, and wood-fired heating systems on your behalf. The inspection provides information on whether your heating system meets the air quality and energy requirements of the Swiss Federal Air Pollution Control Ordinance (LRV). The canton will send you a request with an official report for the combustion control in due course (or may have already done so). If we can carry out the measurement at the same time as the chimney sweeping work, you will save time and money. We therefore ask you to send us the official documents so that we can coordinate the work.

Ventilation

For a healthy indoor climate, we offer professional cleaning of your ventilation system, whether it is exhaust ventilation, comfort ventilation, or industrial ventilation.

Stove fitting

As a federally certified stove fitter, I offer quick and easy repairs for minor defects in stoves. We are happy to advise you on larger projects or the installation of new stoves.
