Trachsel Small Animal Practice
Come in and get a first impression of our practice. Take a look around and find out about our services and what we offer.
We look forward to your visit!
Dogs and cats can bring us a lot of joy. Sometimes, however,
they also exhibit behaviors that make living together difficult.
For example, when the cat no longer does its business in the litter box
or your dog no longer allows visitors into your home.
These are just two examples among many.
Problem behavior in dogs or cats does not usually disappear
on its own. The sooner you address the problem professionally, the less
the situation is usually and the sooner a solution can be found for both humans and animals. Some behavioral problems can be remedied with simple measures in a few days, while in other cases an animal may need lifelong therapy. On average, you should expect therapy to last 3-6 months.
The success of the treatment depends crucially on how well you, as the owner, integrate and implement the therapeutic measures into your animal's everyday life. It is important that you are motivated and willing to implement the therapeutic measures consistently.
If you have a problem with your cat or dog, I will be happy to help you
find a solution. As a veterinarian and certified behavioral medicine specialist, I can help you and your pet with both medical and behavioral issues.
