ABOUT LAC SOUTERRAIN SA
The "Lac Souterrain de St-Léonard" is located in Switzerland, between Sion and Sierre, in the heart of the Valais Alps. A privileged witness to the formation of the Alps, this navigable underground lake is nestled in the hillside between 30 and 70 meters below the vineyards. With a length of over 300 meters, it is the largest natural and navigable underground lake in Europe.
Aboard rowboats that can accommodate up to 40 people, multilingual guides take you on a journey of discovery through this fascinating world in complete silence. During a guided tour lasting over 30 minutes, you will glide across the crystal-clear waters of the lake and learn to unravel its mysteries.
We look forward to your next visit.
