Visitors are enveloped in tranquility as soon as they climb the few steps at the entrance, which leads to the reception area in front of the practice rooms. The sounds from the street are barely audible through the thick walls, the outer side of the medieval city wall.

Astrid Meister became interested in the business location at Obertor during the complete renovation of the Oberhof, and then installed the partition walls for the cabins and massage rooms herself and laid the linoleum flooring. "The location is still ideal for me," says the federally certified beautician, "and my customers also appreciate the peace and quiet and the special parking space right in front of the entrance." The steps at the entrance can be an obstacle for older people, but barrier-free access is guaranteed via the optician's shop on Brodlaubegasse.

Her practice is not geared towards walk-in customers. "Those who come to me appreciate not only the tranquility but also the accessibility." Most of them live in Stein am Rhein or the surrounding area.

Astrid Meister offers facials, cosmetics and manicures, hair removal, as well as sports and foot reflexology massages.
