Zuchtbetrieb Kochegg

The Hudelist company was founded in Neukirch over 30 years ago with the aim of trading cattle and pigs. In 2017, the sole proprietorship was converted into a limited liability company and the Kochegg breeding farm in Stein AR was added, which today represents the main branch of the company. A small team manages the breeding farm with dedication and passion.

Pig breeding QM

We have around 200 sows (Swiss Landrace and Edelschweine) on our farm and breed approximately 5,000 fattening pigs (25 kg). The sperm (premium) for this is sourced from Suisag. We also have three Duroc breeding boars. This mix is particularly well suited for fattening, as the piglets are robust and resilient.
In addition to QM checks, we also undergo regular animal welfare checks and veterinary inspections throughout the year.

Our main customers are Kaufmann Käserei in Mosnang, Wick Käserei in Engelburg, Besapic AG Schweinemast in Bühler, Hörler Isidor Landwirt in Haslen, and Anicom AG.

In the Lake Constance, St. Gallen, and Appenzell region, we are constantly on the lookout for

QM-certified slaughter cattle, calves, pigs, and slaughter moors. We are also looking for calves for fattening.
