There is hardly any other profession that is more popular and deeply rooted in popular belief than that of the chimney sweep. Even today, he is still considered a bringer of good luck. This luck consists in the fact that he protects our homes from fire hazards by regularly cleaning all chimneys and combustion systems and conscientiously inspecting them.
