AKOM Technik AG

AKOM Technik AG was founded in early 2008 by Markus Wehrli and Lukas Neukomm, who took over Walter Saxer's workshop in Tägerwilen. Under its new name, which is an abbreviation of Agro-KOmmunal- und Motorgerätetechnik (agricultural, municipal, and motor equipment technology), the workshop continued to operate on Hauptstrasse in Tägerwilen.

In 2013, a new workshop building was constructed at Schützenstrasse 1 in Tägerwilen, which was occupied in October of the same year.

On July 1, 2014, co-founder and business partner Markus Wehrli died unexpectedly from a double pulmonary embolism. From now on, Lukas Neukomm will run the company as the owner of AKOM Technik AG together with three employees and two apprentices.

General repairs and servicing of lawn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, high-pressure cleaners, sweepers and vacuum cleaners, salt spreaders, garden, forestry and municipal machinery, and agricultural machinery are among their main tasks. (A drop-off and pick-up service is offered for lawn mowers!)

The sale of new and used vehicles and equipment rounds off the range of services.
