Schulverwaltung Thal

 

The municipality of Thal is located in the lowermost part of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, nestled between Lake Constance and the Appenzell Vorderland. The Buechberg divides the municipality of Thal into the southern inner Rhoden with the village of Thal and the northern Rhoden with Buechen, Staad, and Altenrhein.

The Thal school comprises the four school districts of Altenrhein, Staad, Thal, and Oberstufe. A total of approximately 700 students attend the Thal school.

A working group consisting of the school board, school administrators, and teachers worked intensively on the vision for the Thal school during the 2019/2020 school year. Various guiding principles in the areas of culture, social issues, and technical instruments were developed. The vision or mission statement describes the basic attitudes and shared values that guide Thal School. It is intended to clarify the orientation of our school for all those involved.
