Sandra Schneider was born and raised in Thusis. After completing her apprenticeship as a chemist, she attended the School of Pharmacy in Neuchâtel, where she passed the advanced professional examination.

While working as a manager in various drugstores, she began to take a keen interest in the subject of complementary medicine. It became increasingly important to her to understand everything in a broader context and to provide customers with holistic advice. This became too extensive to do "over the counter" in a drugstore. Sandra Schneider decided to leave the drugstore world and devote herself entirely to complementary medicine based on her various training courses. In 2007, she founded the health practice based on traditional European medicine (TEN) in Thusis.
