Over the past 25 years, WALDSTATT Holz- und Blockbau GmbH has undergone continuous development. This growth has been made possible largely by the expansion of our production facilities and the acquisition of a state-of-the-art 5-axis controlled joinery center (Krüsi G1). These investments have enabled us to significantly increase both the precision of our work and our flexibility, giving us a clear advantage in the industry.

 

In 2014, a significant change took place in the company's management when Heinrich Kälin transferred his share of the business to Martin Kälin. Martin Kälin had already worked for several years as a foreman in our carpentry business and thus brings valuable experience and knowledge to his new role. This handover represents not only a generational change, but also a continuation of the tradition and values that our company stands for. However, the most significant change took place in 2024, when Martin Kälin also took over Röbi Pfenninger's shares and is now the sole owner of the company.

 

A particularly important aspect of our work is the special moon phase wood, which continues to play an important role even after the restructuring of the management team. This wood, which is harvested according to the phases of the moon and the zodiac, is not only of high quality, but also contributes to the sustainability of our products. We are proud that we can store an average of around 300 m³ of softwood and hardwood, which enables us to carry out all solid wood work in timber construction and carpentry with this first-class material.

 

The services we offer at WALDSTATT Holz- und Blockbau GmbH are diverse and cover numerous areas. These include the planning and construction of single-family homes, farm buildings, and conversions. Our expertise in timber construction covers all variants, whether log construction, half-timbered construction, or element construction. In addition, we offer clad (log construction) and fully solid residential buildings that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

 

We are also your competent partner in the field of wooden facades, balcony railings, paneling, and interior design. Our expertise also includes roofing with various materials such as tiles, Eternit, corrugated roofing sheets, and profiled sheet metal. In kitchen construction, we focus on individual solutions made of solid wood or synthetic resin-coated materials in order to best meet your requirements.

In addition, we design interior and exterior doors as well as built-in cabinets according to your ideas and needs. Another focus is on the design of solid wood furniture that is both functional and stylish. Finally, we offer a selection of parquet and solid wood strip flooring as well as laminate to give every room a warm and inviting atmosphere.
