How does hearing aid fitting work?
Pure tone audiometry is primarily used to determine the volume at which you can just about hear certain pitches. This procedure is also used as a hearing screening to quickly and reliably assess your individual hearing ability. Of course, it is important to check the ear canals beforehand to ensure that a hearing impairment is not diagnosed due to a blocked ear canal caused by cerumen (earwax). - For more information, click here ->
At the end of a hearing consultation, you should have an overview of how your hearing situation could potentially be improved and what measures are necessary to achieve this. - For more information, click here ->
At Bürgin Hörerlebnis, you can try out hearing aids free of charge for up to 8 weeks. - For more information, click here ->

The name "hearing aid" is very well chosen, as hearing aids actually improve hearing. Hearing aids thus enable the brain to understand better again. However, the brain has to relearn this, as speech memory deteriorates when it is not used or only partially used over a long period of time. - For more information, click here ->
We recommend that you make an appointment with us at least once a year (preferably every six months) for a free follow-up check of your hearing aids. - For more information, click here ->
