PEM Provedimaint electric Val Müstair

In 1955, Provedimaint Electric Val Müstair, the valley's own electricity supply company, was founded. Our two hydroelectric power plants, Muranzina and Chasseras, produce around 20 million kWh per year.

Over two-thirds of the electricity produced remains in the southern valley of Graubünden, while the rest is fed into the upstream grid.

Thanks to state-of-the-art infrastructure, four dedicated employees supply 750 households, or approximately 1,570 metering points, with reliable electricity from the valley. With an eye to the future, we also support the residents of Val Müstair with measures to increase energy efficiency and promote alternative energies.
