Company history

After several years of experience in the wood industry and obtaining his CFC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in carpentry, Hilaire Besse decided to turn his attention to glass in response to growing demand. Here are the key events in our company's history:

• 1971: Construction of a carpentry workshop in Versegères.

• 1974: Installation of the first insulated glazing by Hilaire Besse.

• 1978: The company ceased its carpentry activities to focus exclusively on glass.

• 1980-1983: Hilaire obtained his CFC (certificate of professional competence) in glazing and hired his first employees.

• 1984: Purchase of a belt polisher.

• 1985: Construction of a hall, purchase of a cutting table, and relocation of the company to Vollèges.

• 1990-1993: Purchase of a straight polisher and a double-head drill.

• 1994: Purchase of a washing machine.

• 2006: Expansion of the insulating glass warehouse on the east side.

• 2014: Expansion of the workshop on the north side and purchase of a waterjet cutting machine.

• 2018: Purchase of a radio-controlled suction cup with a lifting capacity of 1,200 kg.

Today, our company has nine employees.
