Schuler Garage

With his training as a car mechanic and experience as a workshop manager, Walter Schuler opened his own garage in October 2001 at its current location in Beichlen, Wädenswil. He benefited from being able to take on many customers from his previous workplace; many of them still form the loyal customer base that has enabled the business to survive and expand in a targeted manner. Word of mouth from satisfied customers was the primary factor in gradually increasing the volume of work to a level that has remained constant for years.

Walter Schuler knew from the outset that he wanted to keep his company on a manageable scale. "Quality has always been more important to us than quantity," says the managing director. The first apprentice was taken on in the very first year – the educational and social responsibility of giving young people prospects is just as relevant today as it was then and continues to be consistently implemented.
